Three great events are coming up at the end of March and the very beginning of April – and bringing spring with it, we hope!
On April 1st, the Short Mystery Fiction Society will announce the Derringer short lists. There are four categories for short stories: Flash, Short, Long and Novelette. Competition for 2025 was tough with nearly 500 works submitted. Fingers crossed for our Mesdames and Messieurs who have stories in the running!
On Sunday, March 29th, 12 to 3 pm, Mme Madona Skaff joins fellow Ottawa crime writer, Barbara Fradkin, at Indigo Kanata, 400 Earl Grey Drive, Kanata for a signing and reading of the Ottawa-based crime fiction anthology, A Capital Mystery.
And on Thursday, April 2nd, 7 pm, Mme Melodie Campbell with be at the Burlington Centre library theatre to host bestselling author/comedian Benjamin Stevenson.
Benjamin’s new novel, Everyone in This Bank is a Thief, is the fourth book in his popular Ernest Cunningham mystery series.
