The Toronto Sun called Melodie Campbell, Canada’s “Queen of Comedy.” Library Journal compared her to Janet Evanovich. She has a commerce degree from Queen’s University, but it didn’t take well.
Melodie has shared a literary shortlist with Margaret Atwood, and was seen lurking on the Amazon Top 50 Bestseller list between Tom Clancy and Nora Roberts. She has over 200 publications, including 100 comedy credits, 40 short stories, and 14 novels.
Melodie has won the Derringer, the Arthur Ellis, and eight more awards for crime fiction. She didn’t even steal them. Her latest crime caper, The B-Team, has just been released. Her previous one, The Bootlegger’s Goddaughter, is a finalist for the 2018 Ontario Library Association’s Golden Oak Award.
One more thing: she’s the former Executive Director of Crime Writers of Canada.
