Mary Patterson

In 2017, Mary Patterson’s story, “Night Vision”, featuring a cheeky cat detective won the Mesdames contest for new crime fiction writers. It was published in our 13 Claws anthology.

Mary is a retired potter and garden columnist for community newspapers. Freedom from pottery work left her time to write fiction and grow plants year round as well as planning and planting several community garden projects along with her husband.

Mary is working on a mystery novel featuring poisonous mushrooms, set in Toronto’s High Park.
