Rosalind Place

Rosalind Place has been writing since childhood: her first work was a 5-page book carefully printed on coloured paper in grade school.

She wrote poetry as a young adult and went on to publish literary stories in magazines and anthologies, recently completing her first novel. Rosalind was thrilled when her first foray into the mystery genre, “Dana’s Cat” was one of the stories chosen by the Mesdames to be part of 13 Claws. Her stories have appeared in every Mesdames’ anthology since then.

Her short story, ‘The Garden Door”, was published in The County Wave, an anthology of 21 stories by Prince Edward County writers, the culmination of the Cressy Lakeside Books short story contest. Her  mystery story, “Learning to Lie”, is part of the Mesdames’ newest anthology, The Thirteenth Letter.

Rosalind, together with Marilyn Kay, keeps the world informed about the doings of the Mesdames and Messieurs through our monthly newsletter
