Greetings Readers!

Our April newsletter, Mesdames on the Move, will be up soon, but first a News Flash!

The Mesdames are being highlighted on Art Taylor’s blog, The First Two Pages!

Art Taylor is a critically acclaimed author of short crime fiction, the winner of multiple Agatha, Macavity and Derringer awards. In 2019, he won  Edgar Award for Best Short Story.

After reading In the Key of 13, he invited three Mesdames to guest on The First Two Pages, to outline the craft behind the creation of the first two pages of their story.

Lynne Murphy is Art’s next gues author. Lynne uses her darkly humorous story, “Let the Sunshine In” to illustrate the craft of creating the first two pages of a story. Lynne’s hero is Charlotte Manners, a spry senior. When Charlotte’s choir sings at a nursing home, one of the residents approaches her. Charlotte is shocked to recognize an old friend and even more shocked when her friend reveals that murders are happening at the home. She decides to intervene, but will she be in time to save her friend?
