Madeleine Harris-Callway

Mesdames madeleine Harris-CallwayMadeleine’s debut novel, Windigo Fire, (Seraphim Editions) was short-listed for the 2015 Arthur Ellis Best First Novel award. It was also a finalist for the 2012 Unhanged Arthur and 2009 Debut Dagger awards. She is now completing the second novel in the series, Windigo Ice.

Her critically acclaimed crime fiction stories have been published in several ezines and anthologies, including Thirteen and 13 O’clock. Most recently, her novella, Glow Grass, was a finalist for the Arthur Ellis Best Novella award. Her newly published book, Glow Grass and Other Tales, (Carrick Publishing) features 7 of her published stories and 2 novellas.

In 2013, Madeleine formed the Mesdames of Mayhem with her two literary critique groups to promote Canadian crime fiction and to support books written by the Mesdames. An avid runner and cyclist, she has completed the Ride to Conquer Cancer every year since its inception to support research at Princess Margaret Hospital.

  2. I’m happy to see you here, Ms. H-C. As one who remembers basically everything, I recall the privilege of copyediting your story “Kill the Boss” for BJ bourg’s departed MOUTH FULL OF BULLETS web magazine, and I remember it as one of the best things that appeared in that publication. .
